The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) proudly hosted the 2024 ENQA General Assembly from October 23-25 at the Marriott Resort and Spa in St. Julian’s. This annual gathering brought together leaders and experts in quality assurance from across Europe to explore the theme, “Quality Assurance Beyond the ESG,” with a focus on advancing higher education standards and fostering cross-border collaboration.
The event kicked off with a welcome reception at MUŻA Restaurant followed by a celebratory dinner the following day, accompanied with a glimpse into Maltese culture.
Over the course of the Assembly, sessions addressed critical topics, including the quality assurance of research and its connection to the social dimension of higher education. Through engaging breakout sessions, ENQA members and affiliates shared case studies and diverse quality assurance practices, contributing valuable insights to discussions on the evolving needs and expectations of the higher education sector.
