MFHEA Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee provides a forum for consultation with stakeholders, which meet at least twice a year and which is chaired by the Chairperson and, or the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority. The Advisory Committee is composed of representatives of private and public further education institutions, of representatives of private and public higher education institutions, of representatives of students, of representatives of civil society, of representatives of the business community, and of representatives of trade unions which represent the majority of employees in the further and higher education sector.
As per article 18 Cap 607 of the laws of Malta, the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority has established an Advisory Committee. Applications of representatives from each Institution of Further and/or Higher Education were received following an expression of interest issued by the Authority.
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority held an online election for representatives of the Further and Higher Private Institutions for the Advisory committee on Monday 10th January 2022 from 9.00 hrs until 17.00 hrs.
The elected candidates will form part of the Advisory Board for a duration of 2 years.

Results of election held on 10th January 2022 for Consultative Committee
Bonnici Charlo: 26 votes (21.3%)
Cappitta Antonello: 14 votes (11.5%)
Haslam Chris : 8 votes (6.6%)
Micallef Robert: 9 votes (7.4%)
Monseigneur Antvin : 8 votes (6.6%)
Parnis Morgan : 10 votes (8.2%)
Spiteri Axiaq Ilaria : 23 votes (18.9%)
Theuma Charles : 16 votes (13.1%)
Vella Rago Manuel : 8 votes (6.6%)
Bonnici Charlo and Spiteri Axiaq Ilaria were elected with 21.3% and 18.9% of the vote respectively.
