Gender Equality Plan
The European Commission have published a guidance document to support organisations to meet the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) eligibility criterion of Horizon Europe. The GEPs are an eligibility criterion for public bodies, research organisations and higher education establishments (both public and private) to be eligible for funding. This rule will enter into force for calls with a deadline from 2022 and beyond.
This Guidance presents components of the eligibility criterion as set by the European Commission, explains what these requirements mean in practice when developing and implementing a GEP or reviewing the equivalence of existing plans or policies. It also provides concrete examples, building on existing materials and practices and various resources that support gender equality in research and innovation at national and institutional levels.
The guide can be downloaded from here.
