Dr Rose Anne Cuschieri, CEO of the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) and Mr Heathcliff Schembri, the external expert consultant managing the process of updating Malta’s Referencing Report, attended the 62nd European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Advisory Group at the European Commission in Brussels. Dr Cuschieri presented information about the function and remit of the MFHEA while Mr Schembri presented Malta’s state of play regarding the update of the Report. In November 2023, Malta will present its final draft of the updated Referencing Report, a crucial document for Malta’s educational landscape as it pegs the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) to the EQF.
