Questionnaire & Focus Groups for CPD project

May 2024 Analysis Report: Outcomes from the Questionnaire and Focus Groups

Support to the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) National Reference Points (NRPs).

MFHEA is EQAVET National Reference Point and collaborating closely with other EQAVET NRPs and experts, the MFHEA aims to foster a culture of quality assurance and improvement within Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems. Through this initiative, we seek to enhance the attractiveness of VET, both nationally and across Europe, by developing an online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course in VET Quality Assurance.

The project not only seeks to facilitate European collaboration but also aims to build institutional capacity through ongoing professional development in this critical area. By participating in this initiative, individuals can enhance their employability as they not only acquire new knowledge but also refine their management and leadership skills based on best practices and case studies from different countries.

Projects:

Online Focus group on Strategy, policies and procedures, Maintaining and continuously improving QA system in VET Institutions and Innovation in Teaching and Learning

The MFHEA conducted an online focus group session as part of the CPD in Vocational Education and Training Quality Assurance  (EQAVET 2023) project. The session was held on 15th April and led by two experts Gino Schiavone and Nino Buić. Thirteen experts from various countries took part in discussions on Strategy, policies and procedures, Maintenance and continuous improvement of the quality assurance system in VET institutions and Innovation in Teaching and Learning.

Hybrid focus group on Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Quality Assurance of work-based learning, Internationalisation and Synergies between ESG standards and EQAVET Framework.

On 24th April MFHEA conducted a hybrid focus group from Estonia as part of the CPD in VET QA (EQAVET 2023) project. During the session, participants engaged in discussions on Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Quality Assurance of work-based learning, Internationalisation and Synergies between ESG standards and EQAVET Framework.

CPD in Vocational Education and Training Quality Assurance

The MFHEA hosted the third and final focus group session as part of the CPD in Vocational Education and Training Quality Assurance (EQAVET 2023) project on 8th May. The session was led by experts Gino Schiavone and Nino Buić. The session brought together specialists from various countries to discuss strategy, policies and procedures, quality assurance of work-based learning, and quality assurance of micro-credentials.
