

Call for Expression of Interest: Selection of experts
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is launching an open Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training to revise and further develop the ‘Implementation of Quality Assurance in Vocational Education & Training (VET) Institutions’ (Manual for VET Providers) as part of The National VET Team-Annual activity planning co-funded by Erasmus + Programme project.
Purpose of the Call
The MFHEA aims to “foster the development and achievement of excellence in further and higher education in Malta through research, effective licensing, accreditation, quality assurance, and recognition of qualifications established under the Malta Qualifications Framework.” – (Source: Chapter 327, Education Act)
The Manual for VET Providers will provide examples of good practice and on how quality indicators can be used in the quality cycle systematically. It also aims to help VET institutions develop Internal Quality Assurance system and improve their approach to quality. This will enable VET providers to continually improve the education they offer for the benefit of students and employers.
Tasks
The experts will be requested to:
- Attend meetings with VET providers to discuss the basic issues related to the development of a sustainable quality assurance system in VET institutions, share experience and best practices.
- Revise and develop Manual for VET providers
- Take part in the webinar
The Manual for VET providers shall be completed and published by the end of November 2022. The webinar shall be held in December 2022. The remuneration for this project is €60 per hour for a maximum of 110 hours per expert.
