Communication about Closure of Schools (Covid-19) MFHEA/01/2021
Following Legal Notice 97 of 2021, MFHEA published a communication to Further and Higher Education Institutions.
The communication states;
“With reference to the press conference held on the 10th March 2021, where the closure of schools and all other educational institutions was announced, as to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the Government after consultations with the Health Authorities announced that the period of closure of these institutions is being enforced between Monday 15th March 2021 till Sunday 11th April 2021. Thus, all Further and Higher Education institutions are to close as per Legal Notice 97 of 2021. No activity involving students is allowed on school premises. Government reserves the right to issue further communications after consulting with the Health Authorities.”
