On Wednesday 28^th September, Dr Rose Anne Cuschieri, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority, attended the Bureau meeting of the CDEDU.

The second Plenary meeting of the Steering Committee for Education (CDEDU) of the Council of Europe is being held in the Palais de l’Europe, headquarters of the Council of Europe on Thursday 29^th and 30^th October 2022.

The members discussed the 26^th Session of the Standing Conference of European Ministers of Education to be held at the end of September 2023 and the Council of Europe Education Strategy 2030.

Dr Rose Anne Cuschieri was elected as a bureau member of the Steering Committee on Education Policy and Practice of the Council of Europe (CDPPE) in 2020.

The committee oversees the Council of Europe’s programmes in the field of education and advises the Committee of Ministers on education issues. Governments of the 50 states that are parties to the European Cultural Convention are represented in the committee by senior officials from the general education and higher education sectors.
