The Campus of European Universities was held on 30 June 2022 at the Palais des Congrès in Versailles. It was attended by Sylvie Retailleau, French Minister of Higher Education and Research, and Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.

Organised by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, in collaboration with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, France Universités, the Conference of the Directors of French Engineering Schools (CDEFI), the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES), the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), Campus France and the Agence Erasmus+ France, the event brought together the presidents of the 300 establishments involved in the 41 alliances of European Universities, as well as representatives of the Member States and the Commission, and partners from the social and economic sphere (businesses, regions, cities, research organisations, etc.).

The Campus brought the French Presidency to a close with an emphasis on the importance of universities in Europe, at the heart of creating informed citizens.

Ms Valerie Attard, Corporate Senior Manager, and Ms Gabriella Mallia, Communications Manager, attended this meeting representing the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.
