
Call for Expression of Interest: Selection of experts to update the Online Teaching and Learning Regulations
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is launching an open Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Online Teaching and Learning to update the Online Teaching and Learning Regulations as part of The National VET Team-Annual activity planning co-funded by Erasmus + Programme project.
Purpose of the Call
The MFHEA aims “to foster the development and achievement of excellence in further and higher education in Malta through research, effective licensing, accreditation, quality assurance, and recognition of qualifications established under the Malta Qualifications Framework.”– (Source: Chapter 327, Education Act)
The guidelines issued in 2021 will be updated to reflect changes and new practices which have occurred or been introduced in the e-learning sector following the pandemic. The updated guidelines shall take into consideration the feedback of the VET providers who have been implementing them since 2021
Tasks
The experts will be requested to:
- Design a survey to collect, and analyse responses received from the VET providers on the implementation of the guidelines since 2021. The data will help experts in the updating of the guidelines
- Prepare and participate in a one-day workshop to present VET providers the results of the survey. During the workshop experts will be discussing and presenting to VET providers new developments in the e-learning sector in the post-pandemic era.
- Participate in the Final Webinar of the project in December 2024.
The updated Guidelines shall be completed by the 30th September 2024. The remuneration for this project is EUR 7,200 per/expert
