

Call for Expression of Interest: Selection of experts
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority is launching an open Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training to draft curricular materials, including templates, module descriptions, learning outcomes and other resources to support the development of the CPD course. This activity is part of the Erasmus + Programme project ‘CPD in VET QA’
Purpose of the Call
The MFHEA aims to “foster the development and achievement of excellence in further and higher education in Malta through research, effective licensing, accreditation, quality assurance, and recognition of qualifications established under the Malta Qualifications Framework.” – (Source: Chapter 327, Education Act)
The main objective is to design comprehensive curricular materials for a CPD course that encompass all essential components to ensure effective learning.
Tasks:
The experts will be requested to:
- Develop Templates:
- Create standardised templates for writing modules.
- Define Module Components:
- Outline knowledge, skills, and competencies for each module.
- Provide detailed course descriptions.
- Identify and describe the target group for the course.
- Specify Learning Outcomes:
- Clearly define learning outcomes for each module, aligning them with the overall course objectives.
- Establish Occupational Relevance:
- Demonstrate the relationship of the course content to relevant occupations.
- Design Pedagogical Methods:
- Recommend effective pedagogical methods for delivering the course content.
- Develop Assessment Methods:
- Propose appropriate assessment methods to evaluate learners’ knowledge, skills, and competencies.
- Technical Requirements:
- Specify the technical requirements necessary for accessing and utilising the Virtual Learning Environment (VLM).
The tasks shall be completed, and all documents submitted to the MFHEA by the end of September 2024. The remuneration for this project is EUR 3.840 per expert (incl. VAT)
