
Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority is launching an open Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training to draft a report that will provide an overview of where VET Institutions stand vis a vis European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) Framework, including gaps and barriers to its implementation, as well as examples of good practice. This activity is part of the Erasmus + Programme project ‘CPD in VET QA’
Purpose of the Call
The MFHEA aims to “foster the development and achievement of excellence in further and higher education in Malta through research, effective licensing, accreditation, quality assurance, and recognition of qualifications established under the Malta Qualifications Framework.” – (Source: Chapter 327, Education Act)
The main aim of providing an overview of the state of play of VET institutions in Europe, including their main challenges and best practices will be achieved through a questionnaire that will be distributed among 50 Institutions across Europe and followed by focus groups in three to four countries to identify the reasons and solutions so that these elements can be presented in the form of case studies.
Tasks
The experts will be requested to:
- Develop a questionnaire
- Distribute the questionnaire and collect data
- Organise focus groups in three to four countries
- Present the final report
The final report shall be submitted to the MFHEA by 1st November 2024. The remuneration for this project is EUR 3.040/per expert.
