Call for Expression of Interest for a researcher/expert with experience in Quality Assurance in Further and Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is launching an open Call for Expression of Interest for a researcher/expert with experience in Quality Assurance in Further and Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training to collect and analyse data to identify key issues, gaps and ideas for upskilling and new qualifications required in various sectors, including analysis of Quality Assurance in work-based learning and partnerships. This task is part of The National VET Team-Annual activity planning co-funded by Erasmus + Programme project.
Purpose of the Call
The MFHEA aims “to foster the development and achievement of excellence in further and higher education in Malta through research, effective licensing, accreditation, quality assurance, and recognition of qualifications established under the Malta Qualifications Framework.”– (Source: Chapter 327, Education Act)
The main objective of this activity is to enhance collaboration between MFHEA, providers and employers. The report will help educational institutions design new courses in line with the latest developments and labor market needs.
Tasks
The experts will be requested to:
- Design a survey
- Analyse collected data
- Produce a report based on the results, outlining the main challenges and ideas for upskilling and new qualifications across sectors, including analysis of Quality Assurance in work-based learning and partnerships
- Participate in the final webinar
The final report shall be submitted by the end of September 2023. The webinar shall be held in December 2023. The remuneration for this project is €3,000.
