Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning
The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is launching an open Call for Expression of Interest for two experts with experience in Quality Assurance in Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning to Design an External Quality Assurance Manual of procedures for VNFIL Centres as part of The National VET Team-Annual activity planning co-funded by Erasmus + Programme project.
Purpose of the Call
The MFHEA aims “to foster the development and achievement of excellence in further and higher education in Malta through research, effective licensing, accreditation, quality assurance, and recognition of qualifications established under the Malta Qualifications Framework.”– (Source: Chapter 327, Education Act)
The development of a QA Manual will support internal quality management and a quality culture of VNFIL centres, to help them understand what is expected from them during external QA audits
Tasks
The experts will be requested to:
- Provide support and expertise on Quality Assurance in Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning Centres (VNFIL) in line with CEDEFOP guidelines and the European Inventory on Validation of non-formal and informal learning.
- Organise a workshop to discuss the Quality Assurance Policy for VINFL centres that was published in September 2022.
- Develop a the manual of procedures of VNFIL centres external quality assurance audits.
- Participate in the Final Webinar of the project in December 2024
The External Quality Assurance Manual of procedures for VNFIL Centres shall be completed by the 15th June 2024. The remuneration for this project is EUR 3,000 per/expert
