Dear education provider,
This self-assessment e-tool has been created by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) to support you in evaluating your institution’s compliance with the standards included in the External Quality Assurance – Provider Accreditation Manual for Higher Education Institutions and the Manual for the Implementation of Quality Assurance for Vocational Education and Training institutions, as applicable based on your educational offer.
This self-assessment tool has been created to provide you with the opportunity to self-reflect on the standards and indicators defined in the two Manuals (whichever is applicable to you) and observe areas of best practice and areas of improvement. Engaging with this tool will have no impact on any potential upcoming external quality assurance process, it has been designed for institutional use only.
Clicking the button below will open a form that allows you to navigate through the different sections of the Manuals in order to self-assess your institutional compliance and quality of operations; this process should not take more than 20-30 minutes. Once you have completed inserting the applicable institutional information, the e-tool will produce an automated report that will support you in reflecting on the areas of compliance that you should be focusing on, as well as in indicating the evidence you could consider having available in order to demonstrate the efficiency of internal structures and mechanisms of quality assurance.
Technical difficulties or have questions about how to navigate this tool, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]
Please note that engaging with this tool cannot give a precise or accurate anticipation of how your institutional compliance will be assessed and judged by a peer review panel. MFHEA will not be held liable for any understanding derived from the automated report, which cannot and should not be perceived as binding.
