Road to Automatic Recognition of Higher Education Access Qualifications (ARAQUA) National Symposium

Automatic Recognition of Higher Education Access Qualifications (ARAQUA) National Symposium

MQRIC is a project partner in the Erasmus+ project “Road to Automatic Recognition of Higher Education Access Qualifications (ARAQUA).”  Project goals are “to explore higher education access qualifications” and their automatic recognition.

The European Council recommendation for automatic recognition of Higher Education Access qualifications seeks to make automatic recognition a building block within the eventual European Education Area (EEA) in 2025. Automatic Recognition will promote mobility and ease for students seeking higher education in other countries, by ensuring all countries accept each other’s qualifications leading to higher education.

At this symposium, MQRIC will give updates on developments related to automatic recognition and will provide information of foreign country qualifications for specific countries, as well as discuss the impact of automatic recognition on Maltese higher education access qualifications programmes and their access too foreign higher education and seek your recommendations and opinions.  We encourage all HEI’s and further education institutions to attend as the symposium is a good forum to exchange ideas regarding higher education access; but also to establish connections, networks and the potential for collaboration in the future.  Automatic Recognition of higher education access has the potential to be beneficial for further and higher education institutions and your opinion is needed and welcomed.
